The Crappy Print Award

We all love a pristine, 3D printed object. Most often, the journey to get to that final result is a pile of printed rejects… Life is a journey- not a destination, so we wanted to celebrate these behind the scene epic failures:

• Perhaps it is that incredible layer shift halfway through your Benchy
• Maybe you accidentally created a flying spaghetti monster while printing that vase for your mother
• Or, just maybe it was that 47-hour print that culminated in a nozzle jam with 5% to go…

We wanted to focus on these rejected, half-rate citizen parts in order to help others with their 3D printing experience. 3DPPGH announced the “Crappy Print Award” at MRRF 2018. 3DPPGH was unable to sign any corporate sponsorship deals for our very prestigious award; however, we dug deep to provide some epic prizes… And, I mean we literally dug deep into our trash bins to find this year’s prizes. Let’s be honest, this is about bragging rights and the trophy that you will prominently take back to your hometown (which is also now available for anyone else to download, print, and claim victory)!
