Description
I have been wanting to have a camera mount on my creality CR-10-S but most mounts I found were either to flimsy or too difficult. Instead of just making another mount I thought I'd make a way to attach stuff to the bed firmly (very!! firmly:)).
The mount attaches to the carriage is amazingly stable and strong. It moves if the carriage moves, it's not flimsy and very durable. With it I design a mount that should fit any camera with the plug on the mount. But you can design anything you want as long as you use the same plug :)
To make something fit the plug is very simple, draw a rectangle of 40mm x 12mm and draw two 45 degree lines from both corners. There's the inside of the plug :) make the walls about 4mm thick and it should be strong enough. (make sure the INSIDE stays the same size, the walls should go on the outside of this :))
Make sure you use the correct print orientation. I printed the mount with 45% infill and full supports between the two layers (use something thin to scrape the supports out).
I only used 10% infill on the camera mount! And it's VERY strong (just 11 meters of filament!)
