Description
I recently got into making my own cheese and discovered hard cheese needed to be pressed with up to 50lbs of weight on the mold. Since I had an Anycubic i3 Mega I designed this very simple press with a few pieces of standard 2 X 12 and 2X6 lumber and a couple 18" lengths of 1" plastic electrical tubing. The weights are standard 5lb Gold's Gym weights.

I also made a piece that will fit into a 4" square mold I found. This mold is made for soft cheeses but I found it works just fine pressing a block of cheddar using my top plunger piece with it. Makes a really nice square block of cheese.
