Description
My faithful Ryobi bandsaw stopped a few days ago. The tyre from the lower, driven wheel had split and jammed the band travel.
Of course the part is no longer available as Ryobi call this model 'obsolete' (to me that is simply planned obsolescence and is so cynical that I will probably not buy another Ryobi too - a pity because they work well!). Anyway, when you have a 3D printer you can make a plan!
If you find this is useful please consider donating a small amount (the cost of a cup of coffee, perhaps! :-) ) to the Felix Fund - using their email address ([email protected] ) on PayPal. They will get 100% of your donation (less any PayPal fees).
Felix Fund (https://www.felixfund.org.uk) is a registered UK charity that describes their mission as follows "Almost every day bomb disposal and search personnel deal with highly pressured situations. This continued exposure to intense stress can have lasting effects, both physical and mental. Felix Fund aims to assist with the well-being of individuals within the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and Search community." so I hope you agree it is a worthwhile cause but please feel no pressure at all - this is entirely voluntary.
