Description

This is a OHC 4cylinder engine ive designed in fusion 360 out of my head...this was derived from many many years in the automotive field and much of my knowledge of many engines wrapped into one.. I call it the AC-4...I will be machining this complete engine on a 4 axis cnc mill to have a running 4 stroke glow engine in time.. all parts are 3d printable though...I have yet to finish all the files, but they will be added as I make progress... the only thing really missing is the timing components, crank seal back plate, crank pulley, lash cups, and tensioner assemblies...

coolant and oil passages were by far the most challenging part of all of this.. the cam LSA is 112* and is derived from sbc cam profiles... i chose 112* LSA for its good idle due to less overlap... everything else is strictly just what i came up with... if anyone is wondering the carb that is shown in the pictures is a O.S 20J... the intake was designed specifically for this carburetor...

for the pumps, one is a oil pump, the other is a water pump.. I designed these as well...
you will need to print :

2 housings, 2 backplates, 2 shaft bushings, 2 keyed rotors, 2 free rotors

assembly will require m3,m2,m2.5 cap button head allen screws...
2mm rod's for pump shafts...
I have not ventured into valve springs and lash cups just yet so more info to come on that
