This is a pepper mill/spice grinder body for:
CrushGrind 25 Pepper Salt Spice Mill Grinder Mechanism 195 mm

I just broke my old grinders and didn't want to rely on a fully 3d printed product. These inserts have worked perfectly so far.

For anyone printing:

  • The insides have nice 45 degree angles everywhere for easy printing from top or bottom without supports.
  • The pepper_lid.stl has not been tested yet.

For anyone who wants to edit the file:

  • The silo and grinder parts are fairly solid and should adjust nicely. I designed the insides to expand at a 45 degree angle (for easy printing) for the height of the grinder then intersected it with a smaller copy of the body. This should make the part that actually has to fit very easy to move into different shaped bodies.
  • The curve of the body and its placement is guess and check. If anyone knows how to do proper math for base_profile please let me know.
  • Default view in OpenSCAD is exploded with modules labeled
  • STL files are rendered with https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2985920

Future improvements:

  • Grippier knob
  • Locks for the grinder tabs
