Description

If you have a bulky old Quanum Cyclops V1 laying around, just turn it into a sleek FPV monitor for spectators.

You need:

  • Quanum Cyclops V1
  • XT60 Connector (optional)
  • 4x M3x12 of M3x15 screws
  • double sided tape (1mm)

ToDo:

  • Open your Quanum Cyclops and remove the electronics
  • print the top and bottom part
  • remove the round power connector and solder a XT60 male plug to the cable (optional)
    • or: print the RoundPlugAdapter to lead the original cable out through the XT60 hole.
    • this way, no soldering is needed at all
  • place all electronic in the bottom part, organize the cables carefully
  • put stripes of double sided tape on the RX and the button PCB
  • place the LCD screen on top of the components carefully
  • place the top part (frame) on the screen and tighten the 4 screws.
  • That's it, connect FPV antenna an 2-3S LiPo and go!

edit:

  • i added a second back-part with the betaflight logo, beside that, it is identical to the normal back-part. Don't forget to flip it 180°, then no supports are needed.
