Gripping Vacuum Adapter for Bosch Orbital Sander (Customizable)

This is a vacuum adapter for Bosch GEX 125-150 AVE orbital sander.

I used to use a rubber adapter to connect my vacuum cleaner to the Bosch sander, but it rapidly loosened and came off. Therefore I designed this adapter which has groves on the inside that directly fit on the windings of the dust outlet of the sander.

Print the adapter 2x. The adapter halves fit together and can be fixed by means of a cable tie. I am using reclosable cable ties, to be able to take the adapter off.

I cannot say whether this design fits on other (Bosch) orbital sanders or tools. Maybe you could provide some feedback if it does.

According to the recommendation in the manual the lateral ventilation holes are intentionally left open. This is to avoid that the router sucks to the work piece.
