Simple Scout Motor Cowling

The cover should help a bit for aerodynamics and allow decent airflow to be directed on to the motor. Not a perfect fit, but my foam build is not perfect either.

I added a tack end to push into the front of the fuselage to help hold it and going to use a couple dabs of hot glue on the bottom to help hold it in place.

This is design to fit an E-Max XA2112 980KV motor.
I added the STEP file to modify to your needs in CAD software.

I printed it 0.3mm layer height with support.
It can out rough but that was more because my support settings and the way I printed it.
