This a remix of my "Compact Bowden extruder, direct drive, bearing bloc, auto load 1.75mm filament" https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:669459
I have added a back window in order to check the cleanliness of the "hobbed bolt" ( MK8 or other )
This is suitable for TEVO Tornado extruder plate and likes...
You need
- 1 Push fit PC4-M5 (I'm actually thinking to change for bigger Push fit PC4-M6 or PC4-M10 but it would need drastic changes in the design.... Let me know if your are interrested for that.)
- 1 x 625ZZ bearing.
- 1 x 608ZZ bearing
- 3 x M3 nut
- 3 x M3x30 mm screws
- 1 x M3X16 mm screw (top of the idler)
- 1 x M5x15 or 20 mm screw (608ZZ bearing)
- 2 x M3x35 mm screw
- 2 small spring (the same as usual bed leveling but not those of the Tornado wich are too big)
Once printed...
- Remove support
- Carrefully calibrate the filament hole with a 2mm drill.
- Tap the M5 of the idler.
The way to construct the extruder is pretty much the same as the original one (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:669459/), exept that you will have to srew it directly in place (see photos)
- Take care when screwing the
- Take care that the MK8 small srew don't rub on the extruder.
Update 27/04/2020 : Added a resdesigned M6 pushft version. (Can be easily updated to a M10 pushfit version)
