HRPT Helical feed support. 1700MHz Centre

This is a 1700MHz centred helical feed with mount for use with a dish to receive HRPT signals from satellites.
As mentioned, the support is centred for 1700MHz and has 7 turns. The helical grove for the wire has a diameter of 2.75mm. The mounting hole is 8mm in diameter.

This design was inspired by Tysonpower's LHCP Helical L-Band Feed and hence, the installation instructions are essentially identical. Their feeder mount or mine can be used to mount the ground plate and feed assembly to a dish depending on which fits best for you.

EDIT: As of August 27th 2019 I have successfully received a HRPT signal with this setup although, I have not yet attempted to decode it as I am waiting for an SDR with more bandwidth.
