Arcade1Up Chassis Screw Cover

I recently purchased the Arcade1Up Galaga game cabinet. I assembled it with no problems, thanks to the excellent instructions. I've been enjoying it a lot.

The only issue I had was cosmetic and rather minor. I was disappointed with the visible screw heads in the finished game cabinet and the riser - they spoiled the otherwise-professional appearance.

Here is a very minimal screw cover/cap that will fit in the recessed screw holes used by the main screws. It's held in place by friction and can be easily removed if needed (though that may deform the edges, so print extras.)

These print very quickly, but the thin walls can be tricky to slice - check out the Notes in the Print Settings section for what your slicer should produce.

I see there are a couple of other designs for these on Thingiverse and they appear to be excellent. I hope to join the ranks of those makers with this totally different yet pretty much the same design.

I've added another version with a slightly larger diameter for the screw hole. As wood dries, it shrinks and my original version may become loose. I'm not sure the same thing happens to glue-soaked sawdust planks, but in case it does, you can use the 9.80-diameter version instead of the 9.75-diameter version.

I now have three different A1Up cabs and three different risers and the screw insets have a mostly different diameters on each of the six machines. I've added a few more objects, but you'll have to print one or two of each for a trial. Good thing they only take a couple of minutes to print...
