Description

This is a Remix of Foreverwinter 's Quick Change Universal Spool Holder for the AnyCubic Kossel Pully Delta 3D Printer. It attaches to the side of a 2020 extrusion, so it should work on any printer with 2020 extrusions.

I've been using it for awhile but never got around to releasing it.

It's basically just a mount and a Knob for his Spool Holder. And allows you to change the Spool without removing the Holder from the printer, or remove the holder while leaving the Mount attached.

Print as oriented and it will not require supports.

Required Non-Printed Parts:
3 x 608 bearings
2 x M8 Nuts
1 x M8 Headless Screw (appropriate length, mine is 150mm)
2 x M4x15 Hex Head Screws
2 x M4 T-Nuts

You will need to print Foreverwinter's Quick Change Universal Spool Holder, linked on the left and install the recommended 608 bearings.

The Mount requires another 608 bearing and an M8 Nut that are press fit into place and possibly glued if they are loose. The nut sits flush while the 608 bearing will protrude slightly to allow for the least friction with the Spool Holder. It also requires the 2 M4x15 Hex Head Screws and M4 T-Nuts for mounting to the 2020 Extrusion.

The Knob requires another M8 Nut, also press-fit into place and possibly glued.

The the appropriate length M8 headless screw depending on the size of Universal Spool Holder you print. Mine is M8x150.

Screw and glue the M8 screw into the M8 Nut of the 3D Printed Knob.

Mount the Mount on the side of the 2020 extrusion as low as possible so that it does not interfere with the rollers (as shown in the photo). You can then attach the Spool Holder to the mount with the 3D Printed Knob and Screw. The Large 3D Printed Nut of the Spool Holder can then be removed to change filament rolls without having to remove the Spool Holder from the mount.

Hope someone finds this useful.
