The old one worked fine, I even made two of them. The one I kept is working great no problem. The problem is I gave the other to an elderly relative. Every time they touched, dropped, picked it back up the wires in the back got ripped out, broken and stretched. It only lasted about a month before I had to fix or replace wires, connectors etc. After many repairs I had to have some solution.
This is my solution – a redesign with a clamp and internal connection for the wires.
This uses the same Bluetooth kit as the original (see it for more information)
