Duet Smart Effector - Fan Duct - Volcano Hotend - Dual 40mm Fans

A bunch of people have been bugging me to put up my fan duct design for the Duet smart Effector. I am reluctant to release this model as there are many things that are simply done wrong on the smart effector that I am not a fan of promoting it. The obsession with screw connectors for heaters and the ridiculous variance in connectors on the effector (for god sake they have 2 different connectors for the 2 fan outputs, both of which are not a standard fan connector and 5 times the size the need to be), there is also no protection on the traces for the fore resistors which are just asking for the slightest scratch (remember there are a bunch of screws going through it)....great idea just poorly thought out.

The layout under the board is not conducive to adding fans and ducts with the designs and suggestions from the inventor leaving much to be desired (why have a tiny effector then only to make it massive again after adding fans). Having an eternal pressure pump to supply air down a tube is another poor solution, as it is noisy, fiddly if you have tall Z area and provides substandard air volume and generally can't be used for anything other than PLA due to the air coming from an external source outside a the heated build chamber used for stronger plastics (yes you use a print fan with ABS, PC etc in a heated chamber).

This has been designed to be printed in Polycarb, if you don't print in high temp plastics (over 250*C) then you should be find just using ABS.
