Vanlife VW T2 with roof rack and interior (model)

A vanlife Volkswagen T2 "Kombi" model, designed after a real-world van (see original pictures). As a base, the "WELLY 1:24 Volkswagen Type 2 Bus" is taken and disassembled. You can buy this model cheaply online (e.g. aliexpress).

The additional parts that need to be printed are split into small pieces so they can be printed with different colors. Then they're glued together to form the final assembly.

The roof rack supports have small clips that should snap nicely onto the roof and hold tightly. As in the real car, a solar panel was added to the front of the van. These can also be bought online (here a 68*37mm one is used).

The interior consists of a shelf base and individual doors that can be printed in different colors. The original black plastic interior of the WELLY model has a middle row of seats that had to be removed (by cutting it out). The resulting hole in the floor was patched with a simple floor plate (floorplate.stl).

Stickers, such as the stripes on the outside and the numberplates, can be printed on regular paper or on sticker paper and glued to the exterior. A template is included (sticker.docx).
