Lord Kelvin Water Dropper - ThunderStorm

I was fascinated by the elegance with which the principles of the electrostatic field were put to use and made visible ever since I first came across this setup while following Walter Lewins physics courses.

So I made this assembly in order to donate it to the university I currently study at, which is also why it is branded with the university logo.

In case you wish to print your own, I used following off-the-shelf parts:

M5 nuts & bolts
M8 Rod
2 x 3/4 " drip irrigation valve
1 x 80 mm chimney pipe
1 x 120 mm chimney pipe
