Description

I wanted to lower some weight and move some parts around, along with deleting the high mounts and body posts. This is still a work in progress, but it's been working great so far.
It moves the ESC/reciever towards the back and moves the battery up front, since it weighs twice as much as the electronics.
I hate body pins, so I used velcro. Magnets could also be used.
The shock tower has multiple mounting points to raise or lower your ride height. The slots in the sides work great with zipties (shown) or rubber bands to hold your battery. Keep in mind you battery wires will likely be a little short doing this mod. I added a JST plug in line to use a real LIPO charger anyways.

The ESC is sandwiched in between the frame rails in the rear. I decided to use a little bit of shoe goo just to make sure it stays there. Make sure you check for any interference with the suspension and driveshaft before you decide to glue in place

I've also included an STL for a rear brace to help hold it all together.

Keep in mind this was designed from a Axial C10 long wheelbase 1/24. I do not know if it will work on the older deadbolt 1/24.

I did use custom supports to raise it up from the buildplate.

--EDIT-- 12/6/20
(V2_3) Added gussets/radii to the shock mounting tabs for strength.
