Description

Hi all,

First of all, i made this is my first design i thought i publish and also just for my own needs.

This will fit on the table where my printer is mounted on ( ikea lack table enclosure ).

My printer was a CTC prusa clone and after many hours nights and weekends it evolved in a dual extruder single nozzle printer with a bigger printbed, it now has a build volume of 25x25x20, a 220v heated bed, a bigtreetech GTR V1.0 mainboard with raspberry pi.

Firmware ( Marlin ) written from scratch, sensorless homing, stallguard, bltouch, dual z axis ( Z Align ) , dual extruder, single nozzle bowden style, 220volt heatbed, neopixel, and so on, only the frame is somewhat left original :-) in other words, its quite a frankenstein that works surprisingly good ( and that for a $65,- dollar base LOL

I think it now does what the really expensive printers do, consideering the money i put into this i could have bougth a couple nice enders tronxys and so on, but... i would have never gained the knowledge i have now!......Thats what you get when you have a hobby LOL

the most of you will agree that you have to start somewhere, and then if you gain knowledge expand this hobby....

The design has its flaws and is not looking perfect but if you want it to be spot on then go ahead and have fun with it, and change it as you like

In the case is space for the bigtreetech GTR v1.0 ( obvious ) also there are mounting holes for a raspberry pi 3 / 3b / 4b above the M5 expensionboard opening ( !!!!! When you mount the Pi inside then the ribbon cable for the M5 expansion bord !!CANT!! fit becouse it will collide with the GPIO from the Pi. ( The M5 will be fitted in the future )

The lid is for a 120mm fan which i found and re used for my design ( flip it upsided down before printing!! )

If you found this useful, please have fun, its all for fun...

Dont look at the cable mess.... it will be re-done when the rest is placed on the right spot ;-)

I also designed a small box for the Bigtreetech Relay card V1.0 and the cable connector for the PSU
.
The red box at the back, if you want it then you can find it here
