Description
07.12
In the end I bought the spring that Lebois used and assembled it with this spring, I am still using an 8 mm threaded rod and bearings so a small 12 mm to 8 mm adapter is still needed
Also after some hours of intense racing, the pedal broke as the 4 mm bolts that I used broke the thin printed parted where they are connected.
So I designed a front plate to take over some of the force when pressing the accelerator and also a connecting plate that will distribute better the force around the screw heads
Make sure to also use some big washers
I played a lot with the repaired pedals and it is holding up without any problem until now, but of course if you can print it in one part that would be much better
Also I made a longer version so the area where the screws hold would be ticker, but I didn't try it yet
07.05
-made one part for Middle Support and the Spring End Support
-I put 2 8mm locking nuts on the outside and they fit perfectly between the bearings, and in this way any adapter can be used on the inside, as long as there is another 8mm nut also on the inside. The idea is to tighten the pedal to the 8 mm shaft by using the 8mm nuts, so that the bearings are used for the rotational movement.
06.05
-added different return system with levers and elongating springs
04.05
-added adapters from KP08 bearing blocks and 8mm threaded rod
2 part cut for small printers
