Description
Seeding box (splittable in half for easy plant removal) with coaster to pregrow your plants before putting them into their spot. It's made customizable (see the openscad file, I also included some default STL, but feel free to play around with it, maybe upload improved version (send me a link so I can link to your creation from here)).
There are 2 modules in open scad for the planter - you can use "sliced_planter" which will give you one half of the planter (the parts should be identical, so you can use it 2x and rotate or print 2x) or use "planter" module but that one doesn't split it in half, you can do it in your slicer
Then there is the "saucer" module, make sure that when you change the values for a planter, you need to change them for the coaster too so that it fits. You can change the dimensions with xlen/ylen (number of planters on x/y axis).
I tried 30 mm height, but it may be too little, so I think 50 mm is fine. Some water may flow out from the sides, but don't worry, it will get into the coaster.
Here is a video how it works, it's super easy https://youtu.be/wGLmOcp8r4I
The code ain't perfect but it gets the job done, you can also find it on gitlab https://gitlab.com/JanKlicka/3d-print-space/-/blob/master/seeding_box.scad
I wanna make a rectangular version to save space, but I like how the circular one looks.
