dryer vent with grate

I got tired of one particular bird repeatedly removing the vanes from the vent cover and building a nest in my dryer. The main body has a grid pattern that he wont get past.

Work in progress still. I have on the drawing board a version with a pipe pattern to hold the retaining structure in place with tension. I may also be removing some of the extra material around the edges.
Retention ring will be thicker in the Z direction to strengthen the cutouts and lock with the pipe.

The cylinder was an afterthought when i removed the existing cover. it holds on with tension, but would do well with a bead of glue if you need to connect a duct.

145mm box pattern for the mounting screws.
100mm vanes with 10mm posts.
