Description

54mm version of the S4 ARLISS Lite payload rocket.

This airframe uses a 54m motor mount is designed for 29, 38 and 54mm motors. It is designed for apogee avionics recovery. It is based on a core 54mm fiberglass airframe with the following printed parts, preferably in ABS, enhanced PLA or PETG for strength and temperature resistance.

  • Printed payload nosecone with modular carriers for 1p or 3p of S4 satellites. Nosecone includes avionics sled for recovery avionics - nominally an Altus Metrum EasyMini.

  • Printed recovery anchor. A forged eyebolt to attach the recovery harness.

  • Printed fin can with integral standoffs for rail buttons. OpenSCAD library was used to Design fin can.
