Description
This is a parametric design to create furniture feet for garden chairs & garden loungers. It is based on the impressive "Cap that Hole" by Ziv Botzer https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1943463.
I made it to create furniture feet for garden chairs and loungers which are skew (not 90° angle).
The skewness is only applicable to hole dimension 1. You have to choose the hole dimensions apporpriately. Take a triangle ruler to get the correct angle of your chair.
If you have a chair with the foot standing other than 90° I think this design is beneficial because it is less susceptible for wear.
I had good results with adding 0.3mm for the fins on each side. That is I chose the plug dimensions 0.6mm bigger than then hole dimensions.
Please follow these easy steps to get the STL files you want:
Known issues: if you want to work with a square foot, you have to choose rectangle and set hole dimension 1 and 2 to the same value.
