I was working on my car's intake and wanted to make a heat shield but I have come up with the idea of making a whole airbox for the filter, so... I have made it for AEM 21-203DK filter and probably other filters with similar size.  I have made mine using fiberglass & polyester resin pressed into a steel net which was working like a frame. Net was fixed to 3d printed ring using screws. There is also part with thread and place to glue in elastic pipe to get fresh & cold air. It is screwed in so it allows easy disassembly of the intake. If You want to make it using just 3D printed parts I have made also AirBox_core file which will replace ring file, fiberglass & steel parts. Inside & outside the box I have glued soundproofing rubber foam which I have been left with while soundproofing the doors. It makes it more robust etc.
