Description
This is a simple holder for water cups with which to clean brushes while painting with acrylics. Its motivating use is for painting miniatures for Infinity, Warhammer 40k, and other tabletop games, but obviously it's not tied to any specific kind of painting or use.
Printing watertight models in practice, as opposed to the underlying geometry of the solid model, can be difficult. Some filaments like PLA might also decompose when subjected to water for long periods of time. So this design is not intended to be a water cup by itself, though you could use it that way. Instead it's intended to hold a small plastic cup, specifically the commonly available Solo P3A 3oz refill cups (*) or Dart P3A 3oz medical cups (**), and ensure the cup does not tip over.
Three variants are included here, with zero, one, and two small brush holders incorporated.
The model is a very basic print: No supports, low resolution, and minimal infill will be fine.
