Description
Spinlocks for 1" barbells/bars.
I printed in TPU and used 2mm walls, top and bottom and they've come out really sturdy.
Sized for a slightly tight fit and with TPU being a bit tacky they stay put.
I made them as locking nuts for around metal spinlocks to stop them coming loose, but I've ended up using them on their own - I've only tried 20kg, but even really chucking them about they're not budging.
07/11/2020 : Added spinlockThreadTest.stl. This is a small cylinder with the spinlock thread cutout. Print this first to make sure it fits your bar/barbell before printing the full spinlock. Scale X&Y (thread diameter) dimensions up/down by a couple of percent until you get the fit you want, then apply the same scale factor when printing the spinlock itself.
