Description

The heatsink in TMC drivers is higher than the serial drivers heatsink.
In AI3M if you replace the fan driver for a noctua 92x14 you will need file the heatsink TMC drivers.

To file the heatshink is easy to do it, only need follow the next steps:

  • Choose the box that you need: 9.5, 9, 8.5, 8, 7.5 or 7 mm.
  • Put the heat sink inside and do not remove the heat sink sticker
  • Use a manual file to file the heatsink. File lengthwise and not across the heatsink fins.
  • When the height of the heat sink is close to the edge of the box, use the card to lift the heatsink and continue filing. To check the height again, remove the riser card.
  • Repeat this procedure with the all heatsink.

Los disipadores de los drivers TMC son más alto que los disipadores de los drivers de serie.
Si en la impresora AI3M utiliza un ventilador noctua 92x14 para los drivers, necesitará limarlos disipadores de los controladores TMC.

Limar los disipadores es fácil, solo necesitas seguir los siguientes pasos:
