Parametric Capped Pins

• Pin shape added: "PIPED": this shape lets you make a hole along the pin axis with desired diameter, so that you can design pair of pins that go together. You may have to work a little on tolerances, but in my tests an OCTAGON shape with a given diameter fits tightly a round PIPED of the same diameter.

• Groove shape function added: now you can select which shape you want your groove to have: "RECT" or "ROUND". These will produce a groove on the pin length you selected.

• Pins, grooves and splits can be rotated to fit the position you need.

[01 DEC 2020] - Uploaded version 2.2, with new customizable "groove" option. You can create grooves on your pin in order to fit in a specified position on your hole. only flat or rectangular grooves are possible.

[01 DEC 2020] - Uploaded version 2, that gets rid of some limitations in size and uses a more comprehensive approach for cap modeling. I also replaced the checkboxes (that do not work in Customizer) with dropdowns and limited angles from 0 to 359.9 degrees.

Parametric capped pins, for any purpose. You can use the customizer to create any size and lots of shaped and flavors. Check the examples.

Be sure to check your design, there are size combos that may lead to inconsistent design (especially if you use large split-pin widths with heavy chamfers).

You may need to print some of them using a support, or you can try to print in place if the fit is tight.
