Customizable Modular Square / Hex Shelf (incl. Benchy Shelf)

A customizable and modular mini shelf system for square and hex shelves. Also includes the possibility of "engraving" the shape of the base of a Benchy into a wall for a perfect display of your benchy collection. :-)

Both the width and the depth of the shelf units can be customized using the OpenSCAD file. The included stls use a width of 70 mm and a depth of 60 mm which works well for a Benchy display shelf (see images).

The walls and joints click together and hold strongly, yet can be easily disassembled again. You can even mix and match lengths and heights for the square shelf (as long as all heights in a given row and all lengths in a given column are the same of course).

Update 2021-08-25: Version 1.1 - Wall Mounting
The SCAD file now contains an option to generate special joints that include small countersunk wall mount plates. These can be customized to the screws you want to use for mounting. Use only a small proportion of these with the rest being the regular joints. It is recommended to print the wall mount joints upside down to avoid supports and with a brim.
