__The FDM60 is the first aggressive inline skating frame designed for cheap FDM/FFF printing, with low cost ($5-10 each) and disposability in mind using compostable PLA.__
This frame is Salomon UFS compatible. Each print requires 4 8mm axles and 2 low profile UFS mounting bolts. Unrockerable frame spacers are built into the design.
It uses the wheelbase from starscream4's ca60s: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3788011
characteristics
=============
- 246mm flat rocker wheelbase (60mm x4)
- 108mm 2-3 split
- __61.5mm Ride Height__ (wheel to soul plate)
- __32mm Backslide Height__ (groove edge to soul plate)
- 291g+ Weight (100% infill PLA)
__v0.30 (21/02/10)__
- UFS mounting bolt hole play extended 3mm
- Wheelbite protection hangdown reduced by 1.3mm
- Backslide Height reduced/improved 3mm to 32mm
__v0.20 (21/01/27)__
- Added mounting edge fillets for narrow THEM soul plate frame channel compatibility
- Added 2mm play to each UFS bolt spread and larger UFS mount recesses for easier alignment
- Removed 1mm from wheelbite protection hangdown to minimize new print scraping
- Enlarged H block hidden compartment
- Removed extraneous material: 8.5% weight, print time reduction (11+ hours at ~50mm/s)
__Known issues__
- 60mm wheels should be used: smaller wheels will cause freshly printed frames to scrape
- Wheel 2/3 wheelbite protection may drag or scrape on sharp turns with new frames
- Wheel insertion/removal can be difficult on new prints
- Support material should be carefully removed from UFS nub cavities to avoid weakening mount points
- Prints __must be baked__ to ensure adequate long-term strength
- Low profile UFS frame mounting bolts required
