Description
The SpeedDrive is a direct drive mod which is compatible with a cooling mod that is the Bullseye, both made for the Ender 3 / Pro. Main issue with the V2 is that the screw holding the fan cover is moved an annoying 5mm or so and therefore neither of the mounts line up. This aims to fix that.
I wanted to keep extras to a minimum so besides the obvious extended cables for the extruder motor, you also need a couple of PC fan screws or zipties to mount the duct to the base.
Both mods are modular in their original form and here, so use both or one or another.
If you want other things added, like BLT, add-ons can be found on the original parts pages and might fit without further modification.

Pictures are arranged in the order I assembled the kit. Skipped the assembly of the SpeedDrive mount as it's not much to it besides being mindful of the motor and extruder orientation.
From the original fan cover four screws are reused, three are not.
Notice that two of the screws reused has the same radius but different length. Short goes in the front of the Bullseye base and the long in the back.
The two long screws mounts the partcooling fan and no screws for the radial fan as that would mean extra hardware and it's a tight fit anyway. There are holes though if one would have fitting screws.
The screw from the old fan cover is tight. Simplest way I found to make it easy to assemble is to create some threads in the base before mounting it to the hotplate by heating it up and twist the screw in and out beforehand.
After assembly and when homing, the nozzle on my specific printer would press against the bed (stock glass bed and springs). I solved this by physically raising the Z-stop by a couple of mm. Another solution is of course through software. I guess every printer will differ somewhat so no global solution will apply. Easy fix, just a heads up to avoid scratched bed, destroyed nozzle or worse.
I have printed two copies of the SpeedDrive mod and of the Bullseye (different filament brands) and both printed, assembled and worked as intended. All feedback and shared makes are appreciated!
Added SpeedDrive mount and base for BMG on request. I don't own that extruder so I can't personally test it. Only minor changes was needed so it should work but until someone verifies that it actually does I don't really know.
