Description
Simple Enclosure/Sleeve for a 5.25" DVD or Blu-Ray Drive. Designed for the shorter 170mm drives.
Hole at the back is for an Inateck UA1001 SATA to USB3 adapter, which is the neatest/smallest one I could find (https://www.inateck.com/products/sata-to-usb-3-0-converter-adapter-fit-2-5-3-5-inch-hard-drive-disk-and-ssd-power-adapter-included-ua1001). I got mine from Amazon UK.

I made the walls very thin (1.5mm) mainly to reduce print time (takes about 10hrs on my printer @ 0.2mm layer height) but also as the drives themselves are very solid so I didn't see the need for a thick walled enclosure. So this is more of a sleeve than an enclosure.
Screw holes on the bottom to secure it and space for rubber feet (9mm diameter).
No need for supports as screw holes are rounded so print fine. Also added a a split version for smaller printers.
