Description
A simple mount for the BigTreeTech Smart Filament Sensor for the Ender 3 Pro.
Slots onto the metal bracket behind the v-slot roller for the z-axis.
This replaces the backplate of the sensor. It can be removed by removing the 6 screws on the back. These screws can directly be reused to mount this bracket (using only 5 screws as the roller-screw on my Ender 3 Pro protruded out far enough to interfere with the final screw).
I simply use a short piece of PTFE tube on one side (short enough to end before the z-axis lead screw) and a longer piece on the other side to act a bit as a filament guide.
There are two versions one facing down (as in the image) and one flipped upwards. I use the downward one as it looks a bit cleaner, but I had originally designed it flipped so I uploaded that older version as well in case anyone wants it.
The idea behind the mount is based on the filament guide by Holspeed: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3052488
I uploaded the STEP file as well, if you want to adapt it in any way (it works well enough for my usecase that I don't plan on iterating on it any further.)
