Cafelat Robot Tamp Level Checker

For Cafelat Robot users. This is a tool to check if your puck is properly leveled.

After tamping, with the stock tamper still in the basket, put this tool over your tamper with the handle of the tamper going into the hole on the tool. If your puck is leveled, the tool should go in all the way without force, rest flat on the tamper, and the horizontal lines on the tool should be more or less parallel to the edge of the basket.

If your puck is tilted, the horizontal lines will not be parallel to the edge of the basket, or the tool won't go in all the way without force.

If you don't use the stock tamper, you can also place the stock tamper on the puck afterwards.

This is not a tamper. I made this tool to help people improve their tamping technique, but I guess you could use it as a handle for the stock tamper if you find it easier to tamp that way.
