Description
I would like to share with You my upgrade kit for 4MAX PRO.
But be aware of that I have redesigned whole carriage connections and it is not stock tape friendly. You have to take care of that on Your own ;) but stock mount should fit as well for connection board.
All parts are designed by me and are working fine on my printer.
The idea was to develop a better E3D+Dual Gear carriage, with possibility to mount BLTouch/3D Touch sensor (Offsets to update in Marlin: X=-26.7mm, Y=0.5mm, Z=-1.42mm)
Nozzle is in the exact same spot as a stock nozzle was placed - so there is no need to adjust Z stop sensor.
You have to reverse X motor wiring, because belt mount has change.
With this carriage, now I'm able to 'see' what is printing, which on default was truly difficult.
In carriage are slots for M3 nuts - do not print supports inside ;) just put m3 nut inside.
Extruder tension screw have to be replaced for longer one and You have to find out how to lock spring in place. i just printed for that M3 thin sleeve.
X printing area should be bigger for about 8mm and Y less for about 6mm.
Do not use this hotend duct without silicone sock on heatblock ;)
