4 Inch Magnetic Dust Collection Connectors

I made these after seeing a few other designs, but wanted to make my own. I did not see any that had a male/female relation to help reduce clogs and make a better fit. I have not actually used these yet as Im still trying to build my dust collection setup, but I printed them and added the magnets and they seem like they will work fine. im not sure about the thein side being magnetic as my hose is a collapsible one and pulling might disconnect. if so I might make an adapter to use and will include it here if I do. I made a few different variations to help with air flow and the flow of the air to go through the male side first. See below for details.

1A – 4inch magnetic dust collection connectors
• This was designed to fit on a thein dust collector I made to intake air and attach to a 4 inch hose. It has a 106mm outer diameter and 100mm inside diameter. This is attached on the front side of the included picture.

1B – 4inch magnetic dust collection connectors
• This was designed to fit a 4 inch connector to a tool. I found this fits all my dust collection connectors. It has a 106mm outer diameter and 100mm inside diameter. I ended up not using this with my set up since I wanted the air flow direction to hit a male end first (hope that makes sense). I wanted to include this in case anyone needed it.

1C – 4inch magnetic dust collection connectors
• This was designed to fit a 4 inch hose and connect to a tool side male adapter. It has a 100mm outer diameter and 94mm inside diameter. I used this on the hose side to connect to a tool.

2A – 4inch magnetic dust collection connectors
• This was to design a fit a 4 inch hose and connect the hose side to my thein connector. This has to do with air flow as I mentioned before. It has a 100mm outer diameter and 94mm inside diameter.

2B – 4inch magnetic dust collection connectors
• This was designed to fit a 4 inch hose connector on the tool side. It has a 106mm outer diameter and 100mm inside diameter.

4inch magnetic cog for connectors
• I used this to test, but really no use – included in case someone wanted it for something. It has a 94mm internal “hole”.
