Kratky Wide-mouth Mason Jar Lid Adapter

Another Kratky solution for establishing root systems before moving plants into a hydroponic grow tower. Well established root systems are required for successful plants!

This time, a simple Mason Ball jar lid adapter that replaces the seal portion. 1 full size plant per 32 oz. jar. You'll want to wrap the jar in aluminum foil to prevent algae growth, or paint your jar with black chalkboard spraypaint.

Mason jars are ideal vessels because they are easy to clean (dishwasher safe!) and are generally not in high demand when you're getting your garden established. They allow individual tailoring of nutrients on a per plant basis, as well, allow for an easier transition from indoors to outdoors.
