E3DV6 Adapter for Ender 5 plus Microswiss direct drive

Hello out there,

Here is my proposal for an adapter for E3DV6 hotend on micro-swiss direct drive for Ender 5 plus.

I was interested by using a different hotend than the stock one. (in this case an all metal one)
And the all metal hotend that are compatible with ender 5 plus did not convince me.

You will need :
2 * 5015 fan
1 Stock fan for cold end
A few 3 mm screws :
5 * 3x8 mm
2 * 3X10 mm ( for BL touch directly screwed in PLA)
2 * 4x25 mm and nuts for the 2 * 5015 fan.
2 * 4x20 mm and nuts for hot end
1 * 3X15 mm for cold end fan
4 * 3X10 mm for cold end fan on it's duct

What else :
-- The right air duct has some holes to be able to fasten screw in microswiss plate . (A cap is also available)
-- The two 5015 fans are connected in parallel, instead of the stock turbine. I soldered them. You could use another mean. Make sure the fans are running in the right direction.
-- On the back of the plate there are 2 hex inprint for the nuts that maintain hot end : put them in before mounting The plate.

E3DV6 hot end :
-- Will be a little bit lower than the stock version : approximatively 2 mm : but will pass everywhere over build plate.
-- Is not fully aligned with the output of the direct drive : approximatively 1.6 mm in front. There are some low profil version of the Hot end that would be perhaps better.

I added :
-- A plate V2 :
The fan duct outlet are 20 degres tilted instead of 30 degres in first version
The holes that allow the tightening of the screws are lightly closed (approx 2 layers) so that the overhang print is easier.

-- A cable management duct :
You will need :
a few zip tire
a 3*50 mm rode and nut to fastend to stepper motor
The holes that are on the fan duct allow the cable duct to stay in place.
The upper hole in the cable duct allows to fasten or unfasten the screw that maintain the cold end fan.
