Description
Here's a simple air valve support that I designed for the air assist system of my Atomstack A5 laser cutter (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4917846).
The support is designed for a very specific valve, the Aignep 6400 with 1/4" threads (https://www.aignep.com/eng/Ball-Valves/GHILUX-Series/FEMALE-G-ISO-228-FEMALE-G-ISO-228-VALVE).
You can mount it on every kind of machine that makes use of 20x20 t-slot profiles, the same used in widespread machines such as creality 3D printers and 3018 CNC systems.
Print the support and the two brackets to keep the tap in place, keep the default position and use supports only in the holes.
I suggest to print the parts in PETG or ABS because classic PLA is too fragile and you could hear some cracks when tightening the screws. As an alternative, try PLA with an infill >50%.
To mount it on your machine, use socket head cap screws (it is designed for M4 screws) and the corrispondent t-nut.
In my case I bought M4, 25 mm screws (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000142028043.html)
and M4, 2020 T-nut (https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000726230157.html). Screws must be cut.
Then to mount the brackets, use 3x20 mm wood countersunk screws.
