PitStop 1.2 Mosquito Remix

This is a remix of MihaiDesign's awesome PitStop 1.2 extruder. The 1.2 version of the PitStop does not appear to be here on Thingiverse, so if you want to use these parts, you'll need to go to the MihaiDesigns website and get them. This thing only consists of modified versions of the extruder body and motor plate - the two pieces that surround the hot end - and adds a mounting adapter that holds the mosquito.

One nice thing about this design is that if you need to make adjustments to get a good tight fit on the mosquito, you just have to modify a small piece that prints in just 10-15 minutes.

I printed the parts in ASA, using the .20mm speed setting in PrusaSlicer. I have not gotten a chance to install it on the printer yet, but I wanted to make it available to others who might want to try it.

I will include the .f3d and step files so you can make your own improvements to this remix.

Update 8/21/21: Darn. I have been fitting my new parts together and discovered that I need to redesign the part cooling fan. It's small, but seems a lot more complicated to design or modify than the extruder body and motor plate. I won't be able to try out my Mosquito PitStop until I get the new part designed.
