Diatone Ripper R690 Servo Cover & Protectors (aka HEE Wing F-01)

Part 2 in my make-the-Ripper-epic series: Fitted servo covers! The Ripper, also known/sold sold as the HEE Wing F-01.

Let's say you gave your Ripper removable wings (that's part 1!) but want to give your servos better protection in your bag, potentially lower drag, and better crash-resilience? Print these!

A Better Fit Through Science

The included recessed spot is intended for a flexible foam part and isn't flat. Three options for molding it to be picture perfect fit:

• Use a heat gun set to ~160C and press into place. Repeat as necessary.
• User your 3D printer's bed, set it to a higher temp like 120C if it can do that, soften the finished part before pressing into place.
• Yes you probably could use a soldering iron set to 160C.. I don't recommended it.

Servo horn?

I've included a random servo horn STL. It's what I used for the servos I had but had no arms for. If you need an arm like this for your servo leave a comment with 1) your servo model name 2) its outer diameter and 3) tooth count and I'll upload a version for it
