This Thing is a template for the Aluminum Sprue Blocks. They are Aluminum Blocks are intended to be used with 3D printed Resin molds for the Buster Beagle injection molding machine. You can mill your own or purchase the blocks here:

The blocks are designed to fit with popular building blocks (not included) that help with registration as well as giving options for modular use. These blocks will take the direct heat contact from the nozzle to protect the 3D printed part. They allow you to use any size or shape mold without using a full Aluminum enclosure that limits the part to the size of the Aluminum mold cavity.

It is also important to support the mold while being clamped. In the images you can see 2 pieces of wood on either side of the mold to help support the resin evenly when injecting. This ensures no part of the resin fails because it is less supported.
