Half Life Alyx Combine Grunt grenade holder

Update march 2022: I added a new version of the base because in the old one the rings didn't fit in the guiding holes. I also added a new version of the box where the guiding hole for those circle things is bigger and deeper. The hole is larger than the thing sticking out from those circles so you're going to have to tinker with that.

This is a model for the grenade holder the combine grunts have in half life alyx. Since the holders differ a little (see the 2nd pic) there's 2 versions of some of the parts.

This time these models are the original size from the game, my other files are scaled up for me but these are scaled the same as the grunts(185cm)

The 3 plates the base has were made thicker (from 1.5mm to 2.5mm) so they don't bend as much. At 1,5mm any contact with the plates will bend them and probably crack any paint, the 2.5mm are pretty stiff (using PLA) and with this thickness the whole grenade holder will move rather that the plates bending.

To make the as stiff as possible make sure the plates are made 100% out of walls, i compared it to using a 100% infill and it was a little lett stiff.
