Description
These deck boxes are deprecated in favor of the V2 variant, which is being updated and maintained for future expansions and includes those for the Gambler's Chest. These are being retained in case anyone needs to get replacement STLs, but it is recommended you check out the V2 versions here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6187085
These boxes are designed to hold sleeved Kingdom Death: Monster cards and their associated dividers for all content through Wave 2. Boxes are in two sizes: the one I used for my set and a box one size up for people who may use thicker sleeves.
Showdown boxes are intended to hold the following monster cards: Hit Location, AI, (Strange) Resources, Hunt Events. They are not designed to hold all cards from an expansion, though printing at a 75mm box might allow you to do so, even with thicker sleeves.
The sleeves that these boxes were designed around are the Sleeve Kings 60 micron sleeves. If you are using a brand that is thicker, like Paladin for example, you will need to print boxes of a size larger than those listed below for some. The Lion God and Sunstalker boxes particularly push the limits of a 'snug fit'.
RECOMMENDATION: If you suspect you'll need larger boxes, print one box of each size and test fit your card groups to see which size you prefer. Or if you have the ability to measure the card stack you're trying to print for, the internal depth of each box size is below.
If you're using Sleeve Kings or another similarly thick sleeves, the sizes below should work for you as that's how these models were tested:
