Description
This is a barrel shroud and muzzle brake for a Nerf blaster, specifically the Longshot main gun.
The shroud is designed to fit around a 318mm long, 16mm OD barrel (worker longshot kit) and inside the front locking lug of the blaster. The muzzle brake fits around the shoud as well as the barrel and is held in place with 2x M4x12 bolts or 2x M4x16 bolts and nuts lock from the back.
There are two versions of the muzzle brake:
The muzzle brake itself has no function, since nerf guns don't have flash or recoil to compensate. It just looks cooler than the flat end of the naked blaster.
The front end of the blaster in the photo is wurstwerfer's frontend, which is a nice completion for the whole look.
This frontend could be used on pretty much any blaster with a front locking lug or a 16mm barrel sticking out the front, but on some blasters it might look somewhat ridiculous
Addendum:
I noticed that the fit between the muzzle and the shroud is somewhat loose, the muzzle can rotate freely on the shroud.
This is more noticeable when it is not fit onto the barrel. When on the barrel, the fit is good
If this is bothering you, a bit of electrical tape between shroud and muzzle fixes this
