Description
This is my motorized mod for Snelon's printable strandbeest using K'NEX!
!!All of my parts have to be scaled to 2540% of the original size because I use Onshape and it thinks that inches are millimeters!!

How to assemble
I have provided a few pictures of the final build but since I decided to print in all black and you can't see much here's written out instructions:
Not sure if it's just me but when I loaded Snelon's parts into cura slicer, the parts were tiny, so I scaled everything up to 1000%. For reference my short beams are 1.9in (or 48.3mm) long and .075in (or 1.9mm) thick. Also remember that my models have to be scaled to 2540%. My strandbeest has 10 legs and has short axles sticking out of the end frames.
Ok now on to the instructions:
Step 1) attach the two motor mount t4s to just outside of the middle two frames. The hooks
should bend and snap around the sides of the frames.
Step 2) attach the outside motor mounts to just inside of the end frames. I did not put
spacers here, so the curve of the hooks is smaller, but if you did put spacers
there, just use the motor mount t4's instead.
Step 3) put the K'NEX motor between the two center mounts
Step 4) put the spur gears on the camshaft. They may need a tiny bit of filing in the center
to fit.
Step 5) add the drive gears, rotation lockers, and spacers. You can see the order I used
for everything in one of the pictures above.
Good Luck and let me know if you have any questions!
