RC Snow Tracks - No Hardware

RC Snow Tracks for 1/10 scale models.

It should fit any car with a standard 12mm Hex Wheel Mount.

UPDATE - 2026-01-01

• Added Bigger Idle Wheel (To remove a bit of slack on old set of tracks)

UPDATE - 2025-03-30

• Added V2.1 (Front and Rear LONG)
  Small modification to the Anti-Rotation Holder to make the sharp corners less prone to breaking.
  Front Frames are now 3.2mm longer to remove a little bit of slack.

• Added a Model #2 for the PLA Paddles (Same model as the TPU version, but the clips are for PLA)
  They work fine in the snow, but drive very carefully on hard surfaces or you will break a lot of those sharp corners.

UPDATE - 2023-06-14

• Added Single Link. Could be useful if you have problems printing the tracks as a print-in-place mechanism. (Some people got tracks that were all stuck together and would not move). Feel free to print every link separately but you will need cotterpins for every junction. I haven't tested this however... The whole track could end up being too loose.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - 2023-01-11

• Added straight cotter pins for the tracks (Using filament pieces still works in a pinch but not recommanded. Unprinted filament become brittle when exposed to moisture and tend to break in little pieces inside the joint, causing uneven stress on the tracks tiny loops). Print those cotter pins at 100% zig-zag infill and they will last much longer than unprinted filament. Even better if you can make them in TPU, they will absorb shock a little bit

- The tracks are redesigned to be both stronger and lighter
- Added U-Shaped cotter pins to reduce assembly time of the frames.
- Added straight cotter pins for the tracks (Using filament pieces still works but unprinted filament become brittle when exposed to moisture and breaks in little pieces inside the joint, causing uneven stress on the tracks tiny loops).
- Added a few minor tweaks here and there.

They can be printed using a stock ender 3 pro if using the TPU mentioned in the description. (Or probably any 95A or harder I guess...)

UPDATE - 2022-02-18 - Added a bigger Idle Wheel (In case you need more tension in the tracks) WARNING Use only if needed, 1 or 2 per frame is probably the maximum, otherwise I suspect the track will be too short.

They might look more scale but they definitely wont perform as good in deep snow.
