Description
An entirely magnet-centric painting handle I made for myself, since I mount steel fender washers in 95% of my model bases.
The primary grip handle has a screw in insert in the bottom to add weight in the form of 1.5" fender washers, lowering the center of gravity and preventing accidental knock over.
The primary paint grip uses an array of 14x 10x3mm neodymium magnets.
Each model "puck" consists of two caps, one core, and one trigger pieces and utilizes 28x 10x3mm neodymium magnets.
It's a lot of magnets but I've found it worthwhile, as I can quickly and easily swap models on/off the main grip without handling them.
This painting grip is very niche and may not be ideal for all miniature painters but, if you are like me and love your magnets and always use washers in your bases, you may find this paint grip useful!
Enjoy!
