Description
I really like Ricky Impey's ultimate drybox, but wanted to have a handle, and also wanted to be able to stack the boxes. This handle is the answer.
Print the handle and two of the plates. The handle should be laid on its side, so no supports are needed. I printed it in PLA with a .6 nozzle at .4 layer height for speed, but you can use whatever settings work best for you.
To install, place the handle with the handle part towards the back of the box, and the two little tabs against the lip of the container. Mark the center of the holes and drill them with a 5mm bit. Install the handle and plates with M5x10 or M5x15 bolts and nuts.
If you want to stack the boxes, be careful, as they are top-heavy when loaded with filament.
Other parts seen in the pictures that aren't part of Ricky's original design are the airlock and the hygrometer holder, both taken from MihaiDesigns drybox.
